While working at SharknNinja on the Floorcare R&D team, I had the chance to work on two cleaning products in multimillion dollar categories, a next generation carpet extractor (first gen pictured above) and 2-in-1 vacuum mop (first gen pictured below). I took charge of the development of the momentum separators in the dirty water tanks of these products, which separate fluid from the airpath to prevent dirty liquid from spitting out of the exhaust. I balanced fidelity and efficiency to develop product prototype testing in a fast paced environment. Dirty water tanks are also very important to customer interaction and maintenance of the product, so I worked closely with cross functional teams to prioritize customer satisfaction while maintaining separation performance. Through this year long co-op, I've gained experience in Solidworks, Creo, 3D printing, and communiction with executives.
